A wilderness paradise! Only 10 minutes east of Highlands on US Highway 64 and 5 minutes west of Cashiers, Silver Slip Falls, established in 1977, is a quiet community next to Stonefly and bordering a national forest! There are many beautiful homesites, many with frontage on the Chattooga River. Long hiking trails with waterfalls throughout this unique community follow the river. The beautiful eight acre common area has a stocked community trout fishing lake.

There are hardwoods, mountain laurel and rhododendron throughout the community, providing color through the Summer. There are views of Whiteside Mountain, Devil's Courthouse, or the Chatooga River Valley from many of the homesites, with stunning views in the Fall.

The terrain is gently rolling. It is wonderful for an evening stroll with your dog. This community is now gated!
